Crappy stuff

Man i know this isnt family fun but i just have to vent. Well as you know my son is in scouts and i am very involved in it for him. We always send him to summer camp with grandpa and they have a blast. Well it just happens that this year may not happen, and it was being blamed on me and Di(our den leader-wonderful lady). I had asked all the parents what dates would work well for them and compiled a list and found a date that would work for all of us. So i took the money and dates to the Pack Leader-main person in charge of stuff like this. Well i guess he was expecting for me or di to call and get it set up. For one, i dont have the phone #s and i dont have the money to cover all five of the scouts, who really does now a days? Since he assumed that it was taken care of nothing else was done on his part. All the other 3 years when the old pack leader was here, he did it so no one would run a scam or forget. Well long story short, we now are on a waiting list and may not be able to go, but we still have to pay money out for the just in case it works out. AAAHHHHHHH, this is why i decided not to be the treasurer, no one seems to be on the same page and every gets blamed for stuff they didnt do. i am tired of getting mean and rude email, stop hating and just love me for crying out loud.
I am only human.

Bowling Fun

bowling, or sucking whichever you prefer.

We were invited to one of Travis's classmates birthday party on Sunday. It was being held at a bowling alley in Keizer. We had never taken him bowling and Mickey hadn't been bowling for a few years. Travis was so excited, it was a fun night out, Scott thinks we should do it again soon at the one here in town. I tried to bowl but it just doesn't work that well for me right now. I didn't get any higher than a 76. I guess that's not good, i thought it was and that's with bumpers!!! :) Oh well at least the boys know that they can beat me at something else now. We also have pictures to prove it.

Hail Storm

It hailed a bunch!!
Looks like it snowed here, really neat stuff.

Of course playing in the gushing water, what else would i expect of them.

Well, this was exciting. There was a big crash of Thunder and then it was pouring down with hail so hard it looked like it snowed. We ran outside to play in it when it was over. Scott was silly and ran out in it when it was still pouring down. I got some nice pictures of it while it was happening and after.

Our Trip With Just the Two of Us

Scott and I went to the coast for a late valentines day for the two of us. We saw Eddie Money and LoverBoy at the chinook casino. It was a blast, our seats were pretty good. Just couldnt get good shots with the camera. We also spent the night and came away from the casino $200+!!!! Never happened to me before, i am sure that the regulars were getting tired of me being excited about 113$ big win. Oh well, it was fun.

Day One of the Blog

I got bored and didnt like the blank empty part of the living room and decided it needed some attention. I hope it stays and I know I am not done yet. I wish I could paint something instead of using paper. Oh well, these cutouts were used in the kids room when they were babies. Very good memories with them. Now all I have to do is find some matching green paper. Let me know what you think.
