Sunset while we were at the Drive Inn in Dallas, Oregon.

Family Campout 2008, Last Night Crab Feast

Here are a few of the crabs that the family caught.
This one is a red rock and are the bad ones, they are the invasive crabs.
We can catch as much as 30 of these in 3 days I believe.

This is the FEAST!
No thank you, but the kids and rest of the family love it.
Sam and Mickey especially.

Family Campout 2008

Camping at the beach, so we cant forget to add some beach playtime.
It was at least 90 degrees and the water was warm.
I cant remember the last time that the beach was so perfect.
Best of all, no fighting and squabling.
Awww.......

My sweetie, he had to retreat to the van.
He forgot his hat, we didn't want any sunburns this trip.

This little guy always looses his pants.
He loves the ocean, i had to keep chasing him. He would run as far out as he could before i caught up. The tide was out but you still cant trust the water or sink holes.

This is our campsite. Its hard to see because it is raining!!
It rained and we got flooded. It only happened once though and we survived.

Family Campout 2008, day 2

Day 2
Uncle Tim took the kids out on the lake for some fishing with the boat.
They almost caught one, the line snapped and it splashed away.
They had lots of fun anyway, they want us to get a boat.

P.S.
Dad wants a boat now also.
Big surprise huh.

Family Campout 2008

What can I say, time to chill and play zonk.
My Auntie and I were in heaven,

Family Campout 2008

This year we as the extended family went camping in Lincoln city, Oregon. We stayed in the KOA that is located by the lake. It started out slow and rocky but all in all it was a good time.

The first few hours we spent in our site we had dog dooty and cat pooey that needed to be picked up. Then the young man that is responsible for the pooey came back and made some fresh piles. Apparently he lives next door to the park and causes TONS of problems for the owner. The sheriff has been out to the house more than 20 times this summer/year. Nice huh. Well his cat that was walking with him with his dog came by our tent and pee-ed on the tent in two spots, Scott's shoes-both pairs, my belt and the tarp. We had left the tent for 20 minutes and this happened. After some chatting with the owners our stuff was cleaned and washed. They are wonderful people and I am very thankful for them "putting up with me".
Well the pictures that follow this are the fun times that were had from here out!!!

Ritner Creek Park

Mr crawdad at Ritner Creek Park.
Just another hot steamy day and found some water to go play in.
The kids found this guy and we thought he was dead.
Guess what, hes very much ALIVE!

When ever dad would take a step toward him he would just flare out and try to pinch him. Usually they swimm away backwards.
I guess that this one is really mad about us picking on him, :)

Park outing

At a park in Albany, Oregon.
Can you say beautiful and green!!

More Sunsets

I just cant get enough of the beauty of sunsets and birds singing.
These are some more of my latest snaps.

Scout camp 2008

This is not the pictures that I had really wanted but this all that I have. I am waiting for some from my dad. He was the one who went with Mickey to Gilbert ranch. These are on the way and when we got there. They came home sweaty and ready for a shower. Mickey rode a horse, panned for gold, cooked over a fire and ate tons of food.

Xavier and mickey in line......
