He wanted cherry's on his piece :)

The Beach in Early January

If you havent noticed we love going to the beach. We go as early as 6 in the morning or as late as 5 in the evening. We go just to watch the sun set and early to see the sun Rise up. It is a long trip for just a few minutes of peace and beauty. The love to go to watch the sun do its "magic". Here are some of our latest venture of a sunset. Most beautiful i do think.

free stuff just to see if anyone reads this

Lucky you!
The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make! (Though I hope you will!)
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done this year. {might be a little while}
4. You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or maybe even some creation I haven't even invented yet. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog.
The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me!
* * *Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!* * *

Christmas Tree Lighting

A Tradition in our town is to light the giant Sequoia Tree for the holidays. They now have parades, singing, arts and crafts, and cant forget SANTA. So for our den meeting we had the boys and families come and play for the night. It was a blast, we were all getting kinda cold when out of no where a cart with cider and cocoa stopped by. It was free and yummy. While waiting we got into a camera war and started taking random pictures of each other. I so enjoy spending time with the parents of our boys.

Trip to the Trailer-weekend of the Cival War

We were invited to the trailer at Alsea with Auggie and the boys. It was a blast, the kids played outside all day both days and Scott and Auggie fished the whole time. It was relaxing for me, I got to read my new book this weekend.

Scott was really not wanting to go to work.so after a long hard storm we decided to go to the beach. While the kids were still working hard we stopped by to get Travis-he gets out earlier, and went straight to the beach for some sand time. My dad wanted to pick the other two up from school for us. We didn't need to hurry home. :)

Cub Scout Pow Wow

As most of you know I am the scout leader for my sons Webelos group. I was told that I SHOULD go to pow wow this year and learn some stuff for lessons. Well it was a blast, I went with our pack leaders wife Dana. We had so much fun together. We didn't have that many classes the same but next year we will divide and conquer all the right way. I took outdoor cooking, geo-caching, intro into boy scouting, outdoor webelos training and some others. Below are some of the things I liked and want to do for our group.

Random Last Minute Beach Trip

If any of you remember the weather in October was Perfect!! There were days that you didn't even need a coat. I decided on a Sunday to take the kids to the beach. Well dad didn't want to go so just me and the kids went. We got to the road that we like (the one with Mo's and the pier) and guess who is walking down the road but cousin Mike. So stopped and threw him into the car and went to the beach. Sam ended up trying surfing-addicted, and the boys and myself played in the sand. It was a no coat required day.

All in all it was a perfect day, missed dad though.

The scenery on the way over, breath taking.
