Some days i wish that it was always sunny and no tears

Some days i wish that it was funny all the time with no fears.

Some days i wish that i had all the time to run in the sun

Some days i wish that i had all the time to play with the kids and have fun.

Some days i wish that there were no meanies out there beyond the door

Some days i wish that there were no worries to have to prepare them for.

Some days i wish that we all were equal and no one was better than me or you

Some days i wish that we all got along and no one hated me too.

Today is the day that my kids learn how to love and not hate

Today is the day that my kids want to open there heart and understand

Today is their day.

Happy Mothers Day

My grandmother wrote this for her mom before she passed and I love it. It gets down to how most of us feel about our moms. Through no matter what she is always there.

Mother

Mom is what I call her most,

She is the best, I really must boast.

Others are nice but they cant compare,

Her love is there ready to share.

Tender but tough, hardworking too,

The children leave but her work isnt through.

Happy in just knowing her children are well,

Proud of her family, he world she will tell.

Ever ready to lend a helping hand,

There is none better in entire land.

Rich with love, wealth beyond maeasure,

Family to her is the worlds greatest treasure.

Large or small, young or old,

Hair of white or brown or gold;

Professional or domestic, whatever her style,

On loan from God for a little while;

Sent here for us to cherish and love her,

Thank you God, Thank you for MOTHER.
