What to do, What to do

I got up this one morning and decided to make eggs and pancakes for the kids. I started cracking the eggs and this is what I found!!!
FROZEN EGGS
Hmm, very weird looking but still cooked up fine and tasted good.

Fort Yamhill Hike

Our lovely leader Di had arranged for the group to have a hike up at
Fort Yamhill. The plan was to hike along the trail and learn about the past and what the fort was built for. We learned a whole lot from the trip. For example why the fort was built and needed, Archaeology, what the soldiers uniforms looked like, and what and where they slept.
It was a great day the weather held up and made for a great picnic day.

Pack Camporee Part 2

Okay, here is part two of our Pack Camporee. This is the camping part, we went to "The Flying "M" Ranch. Our campsite was in the most perfect spot I think. Except for all the horse poop all over. We had trees all around us, the sound of a creek behind us, and port-a-potties near by. Scott and Sam didn't go camping but Mickey and Travis went with me. We had a blast and cant wait for next year, hopefully I can get the rest of my family to go. :)

Right away when we set up the flag we had a visitor come and stay a while with us.

Here is another picture of our friend.

Here is our group making kites for our first activity.

The leaders and Boy Scouts making the string holders for the kites.
Lots of giggling going on.

Here is Dave, Dustin and Mickey running with there kites.
Run boys RUN!!

We had skits at campfire and they were all so funny. The boys finally opened up and started having fun.

Travis was given a run on and he had Benjamin help him.

Mickey also had a run on and
he asked Benjamin also to help him.

This is Dave doing his part of the song
"If I weren't a Cub Scout".
He was a cheerleader,
"Go Go Fight Fight - Gee I hope I look alright!!"

The next morning we went on a hike, the boys had to use the buddy system. Of course Mickey and Travis were buddies.

The boys were having so much fun, they learned new things and they also taught Pack Leader a few things. It was a great hike.

~ SILLY TIME~

What a weekend, tons of fun and tons of crafts and laughing.
I don't think that this could have gone any better.
Although I think we could have lived without all the thunder and lightening.

Cub Scout Camporee-part 1

We had our Scout Camporee and it was a blast. We started out at the The Evergreen Aviation museum in Mcminnville,Oregon. When we were done we went on to the Flying"m" Ranch.

First parts first, we started out at the Aviation Museum-Space building. We all met there and had a tour guide lead the boys while the parents ooh'd and aww'd. I really love learning about space and how it took us to get there. So I was in heaven.

The Imax film/movie was broken so we had to take a rain check on that one. That only means that we will have to go back another day, yay!!
