Our fishing Trip

We had a day that was just what the Oregonian ordered. Early sunshine, no one at the fishing hole but us and lots of laughter and then BOOM!! No fish, what in the world, was there a letter sent that we didn't get. Sorry today is to nice please come again.
Anyway, we had lots of fun and the boys got to practice.

By the way we went to Devils Lake in Lincoln City and spent the night.

What a bunch of hams, posing for the camera while fishing. They thought that if they moved to the other side they would catch some fish. I guess that they were wrong. It was a good bonding day for the guys no matter what.

We went and found Cousin Mike. He is really cool and the kids just love him to pieces. On our outing we found a group of deer mingling around. It had to be like 15-20 deer just walking around. It was kinda weird just down the road we were at the shopping mall. Oregon's small wonders I guess.

The boys loved the fact that mom and dad let them jump on the beds. This is something that just doesn't happen at home. They were having way to much fun.

Went went down to the beach and spent about 2 hours down there. The boys played in the sand and water building sand igloos and castles. I spent my time flying our sponge bob kite. I had a hard time at first, there were lots of kites being flown in the area we went to. This one guy had some really huge ones flying and they were actually really low. At one point you could touch the tails.
Here's the sponge bob flying, it took about 30 minutes. I never said I was good at it.

This is the igloo that the boys made.
Mickey decided he wanted to fly the kite before we packed up for the day.
These are just a couple of the kites up in the air.
I have only seen this many during the kite festival. It was really cool.
Here we are packing up our room.
While the boys catch up on the cartoons.
A view of the bay in the evening. I love watching the sunset. It is so peaceful.

That night Cousin Mike took us to the Bay House. He works there as the prep cook and the dessert maker. He spoiled us rotten there. The food was wonderful and the view was perfect. Mickey had Cod and salmon cakes, I had Duck, and Scott had fish. I was a long vacation but we had a blast.
